Overview
The pride of India- The Royal Bengal tigers have always been an attraction to anyone interested in Wildlife. These beautifully striped creatures reside in some of the most dense forests of Central India and the luck to spot even one of them is an achievement to anyone who visits India. We at Terraveller, have set out our Madhya Pradesh Chapter of Tiger trails where we may get lucky to spot one of these shy felines. This tour will solely focus on wildlife and its beauty. To warn you, witnessing wildlife in their natural habitat is a matter of luck but don’t forget, miracles happen to those who value and understand them!

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Jabalpur
Today, upon arrival in Jabalpur, you will be transferred to your hotel. Spend the day at your leisure relaxing and preparing for the amazing journey about to begin.
Day 2: Jabalpur Local Sightseeing
Early in the morning, after a healthy breakfast, head to the Chausath Yogini Temple, a 10th-century temple dedicated to the goddess Durga, located atop a hill overlooking the river. Return to your hotel for the afternoon. Later in the afternoon, visit Bhedaghat, a popular tourist destination near Jabalpur known for its stunning marble rocks and Dhuandhar Falls. Take a boat ride on the Narmada River, passing through the towering marble cliffs, and witness the magnificence of the Dhuandhar Falls. You can spend some time shopping for some amazing marble handicrafts made by the locals.
Day 3: Transfer to Bandhavgarh
After breakfast, check out from your hotel in Jabalpur and proceed to Bandhavgarh National Park. Bandhavgarh is known for its large population of Royal Bengal Tigers and the most convenient zone to spot these beautiful stripes. Upon arrival, check into your wildlife resort and have some leisure time to unwind. In the evening, experience your first tiger safari in Bandhavgarh, known for its high tiger density. Apart from tigers, you can spot other wildlife such as leopards, deer, sloth bears, and various bird species.
Return to your resort and relax after an exciting safari.
Day 4: Morning and Evening Tiger Safari in Bandhavgarh
Start your day early with a morning safari in Bandhavgarh National Park to maximise your chances of tiger sightings. Explore different zones of the park, each offering unique landscapes and wildlife. Return to your resort for breakfast and some relaxation.
In the evening, set out for another thrilling tiger safari, and continue to marvel at the beauty of Bandhavgarh and its wildlife. After the safari, you can participate in some nature-based activities or enjoy the amenities at your resort.
Day 5: Transfer to Panna
After breakfast, check out from your resort in Bandhavgarh and transfer to Panna National Park. Upon arrival in Panna, check into your resort and have some leisure time. This National Park is less commercialised and spreads through large areas of lands. In the evening, you can take a nature walk around the resort and spot some bird species. You can also head for an evening safari which will be optional and on direct booking.

Day 6: Panna Safari and Visit to Pandav Caves & Falls
Early in the morning, embark on a safari in Panna National Park, known for its diverse wildlife and beautiful landscapes. Besides tigers, you can spot leopards, wolves, sloth bears, and a variety of bird species.
Return to your resort for breakfast and some relaxation.
Later, visit the Pandav Caves, an ancient archaeological site located nearby, with a rich historical and mythological significance. Here, we will also visit the magnificent Pandav Falls that are considered the places where the Pandavas spent years of their exile. The cave formations and depictions and the mysterious Pandav falls are worth the visit. Explore the caves and learn about their connection to the epic Mahabharata.

Day 7: Transfer to Khajuraho enroute visit Raneh Falls
After breakfast, check out from your resort in Panna and proceed to Khajuraho. En route, visit the magnificent Raneh Falls, which is less explored but an incredibly scenic waterfall surrounded by lush greenery and unique rock formations.
Upon arrival, check into your hotel and have some leisure time. In the evening, attend the captivating light and sound show at the Khajuraho temples, where the history and legends of these ancient temples come to life with special effects and narration.
Return to your hotel and rest for the night.
Day 8: Full Day in Khajuraho
Spend the whole day exploring the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Khajuraho Group of Monuments, known for its stunning and intricately carved temples. Visit both the Eastern and Western Group of Temples, admiring the artistic beauty and architectural brilliance of these ancient structures.
Take your time to understand the stories and symbolism depicted through the exquisite sculptures. In the evening, you can either relax at your hotel or explore the local markets and handicraft shops for souvenirs.

Day 9-Day trip to Orchha
After breakfast, take an excursion to the historical town of Orchha, located near Jhansi.
Explore the magnificent Orchha Fort complex, consisting of palaces, temples, and cenotaphs, showcasing the grandeur of the Bundela dynasty.
Visit the beautiful Ram Raja Temple, where Lord Rama is worshiped as a king.
Admire the architectural brilliance of Jahangir Mahal and Rai Praveen Mahal, two significant structures within the fort complex.
In the evening, return to Khajuraho and spend some leisure time at the hotel.

Day 10: Departure from Khajuraho
After breakfast, check out from your hotel in Khajuraho. Depending on your departure plans, you will be transferred to either the Khajuraho airport, Gwalior airport, or Jhansi railway station for your onward journey.
