Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Jhansi – Jhansi Sightseeing

Arrive at Jhansi and transfer to your hotel. After freshening up, visit Jhansi Fort, a historical marvel known for its strategic importance and architectural brilliance. Explore the Rani Mahal, a beautiful palace located within the fort complex, which once served as the residence of Rani Lakshmibai, the queen of Jhansi. Immerse in the courageous history of Rani LaxmiBai. We will then visit the Government Museum to learn about the rich history and culture of the region.
In the evening, you can explore the local markets and experience the vibrant local culture.

Day 2: Day trip to Orchha

After breakfast, take an excursion to the historical town of Orchha, located near Jhansi. Explore the magnificent Orchha Fort complex, consisting of palaces, temples, and cenotaphs, showcasing the grandeur of the Bundela dynasty. Visit the beautiful Ram Raja Temple, where Lord Rama is worshiped as a king. Admire the architectural brilliance of Jahangir Mahal and Rai Praveen Mahal, two significant structures within the fort complex.
In the evening, return to Jhansi and spend some leisure time at the hotel.

Day 3: Transfer to Khajuraho – Full Day Khajuraho Visit

After breakfast, check out from your hotel in Jhansi and transfer to Khajuraho.
Upon arrival in Khajuraho, check into your hotel and have some leisure time to unwind.
Later in the afternoon, explore the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Khajuraho Group of Monuments, famous for its intricate and erotic stone carvings.  Visit both the Western and Eastern Group of Temples, marveling at the artistic beauty and architectural brilliance of these ancient structures. In the evening, you can attend the light and sound show at the Khajuraho temples, where the history and legends come to life with special effects and narration.

Day 4: Transfer to Panna – Visit Pandav Falls and Caves

After breakfast, check out from your hotel in Khajuraho and transfer to Panna.
Upon arrival, check into your hotel and have some leisure time.
Later, proceed for  a visit to the stunning Pandav Falls, a picturesque waterfall surrounded by lush greenery. Explore the Panna Caves, an ancient archaeological site with rich historical and mythological significance.
In the evening, you can take a nature walk around the resort or participate in bird-watching activities.

Day 5: Wildlife Safari at Panna

Today, you will head for a morning and evening wildlife safari in Panna to explore the probable wildlife in the natural habitat. Panna is known for a variety of animals like the Ghariyals of Ken River, Royal Bengal Tigers, The Black Bear and deer. A variety of migratory birds can also be spotted depending on the season.

Day 6: Drive to Gwalior

After breakfast, check out from your hotel in Panna and drive to Gwalior. Upon arrival in Gwalior, check into your hotel and have some leisure time to rest.

Day 7: Gwalior Sightseeing, Fort, and Light and Sound Show

Today we will indulge in a full day of sightseeing in Gwalior. We will visit the Jai Vilas Palace, the opulent residence of the Scindia royal family, which now serves as a museum displaying a rich collection of artefacts, paintings, and historical treasures. Explore the Tomb of Tansen, a mausoleum dedicated to the renowned musician Tansen, showcasing Indo-Islamic architecture. Visit the Sun Temple, a beautiful temple dedicated to the Sun God, with stunning carvings and architecture.
Later in the afternoon, visit the magnificent Gwalior Fort, one of the largest and most well-preserved forts in India. Explore Man Mandir Palace and Sas Bahu Temple within the fort complex, showcasing impressive architecture and intricate carvings. In the evening, attend the spectacular light and sound show at the Gwalior Fort, narrating the history and legends associated with the fort.

Day 8: Departure from Gwalior

After breakfast, check out from your hotel in Gwalior.
