Detailed Itinerary

Day 1- Arrive in Bhubaneshwar.

Upon arrival in Bhubaneshwar, you will be received by our representative and transferred to your hotel. Check in and spend the rest of the day at your leisure.

Day 2- Day tour to Udaygiri, Khandagiri & Dhaulagiri

After breakfast, begin your tour by driving to Udaygiri and Khandagiri caves. Then proceed to visit the famous Dauli Stupa in Dhaulagiri that is considered one of the major buddhist religious places in Odisha. Return to your hotel for the night.

Day 3- Bhubaneshwar To Puri

After a relishing breakfast, begin your drive to Puri. On reaching Puri, check in to your hotel and spend the evening at your leisure.

Day 4- Jagannath Temple Visit & Konark Temple Visit

Begin your day by offering prayers at the famous Jagannath Temple. Please remember to check the timings and leave early. The rush may take a while to complete your visit keeping in mind the temple closing times. After lunch, leave to visit Konark temple. This beautiful temple situated exactly on the coast is worth the visit. On your way back, enjoy the drive on the coast witnessing the setting sun.

Day 5- Day excursion to Chilika Lake and Satpada.

After breakfast, drive to Chilka. On arrival in Satapada, enjoy a tour  to spot some Irrawaddy Dolphins in nature &  the sea mouth(the point where the lake meets the sea). Enjoy the day at Chilka Lake (India’s biggest inland lake).Return to Puri for an overnight stay.

Day 6- Puri – Pipli village – Bhubanshwar

Morning check out from your hotel and begin your journey to Bhubaneswar. Em-route, stop by at Pipli village, famous for its Applique handicraft. Take some time to see a few artisans in action. You can spend some time and shop some of the popular pieces of Odisha craft here. Continue your journey to Bhubaneswar. Check in to your hotel and retire for the day.

Day 7- Day Excursion to Dhenkanal and Nauputana Village

After a heavy breakfast, begin your drive to Dhenkanal. En-route, visit Nuapatna, a Weaving Village and Sadeibareni, a Dhokra Craft Village to see the artisans do their craft. You can visit the village and meet the artisans here. If interested, you could also try a hand in this art and take back a once in a lifetime art experience. Return to Bhubaneswar for the night.

Day 8- Bhubanshwar To Baliguda

Today after breakfast depart for Baliguda. En-route  visit Phulbani a typical village setting. The village is surrounded by green hills, and large water bodies which enhance its beauty. The city is considered as the starting point for the numerous tourist attractions and it is located next to Salunki River. You will also visit the tribal villages and witness the unique culture and traditions of the tribal people. Further continue the drive to Baliguda for a night stay.

Day 9- Baliguda To Sambalpur

Post breakfast, begin your journey to Sambalpur. Enroute visit villages where you can see craftsmen at work. Check in to your hotel for the evening.

Day 10- Sambalpur Local Sightseeing

Enjoy a full day of local sightseeing in Sambalpur. Visit villages known for their craft in exclusive Sambalpuri silk sarees. Don’t forget to buy a few for the women back home! Post lunch, make a trip to the famous Hirakud Dam. Return to your hotel for the night.

Day 11- Departure Day

After an amazing tour of this beautiful East Indian State, you will be dropped at the nearest airport, Raipur/Bhubaneswar or railway station for your journey back home.
