Detailed Itinerary

Day- 1- Arrive in Srinagar

Today, you will land in Srinagar airport and will be transferred to your hotel for the day. You can freshen up and spend the day at your leisure in your hotel.

Day- 2- Srinagar Local Sightseeing

Srinagar is the capital city of India and a hub for history and culture. After having tummy filling breakfasts, we will proceed towards visiting the famous Mughal gardens, Cheshma Shahi also known as the Royal Spring, Nishat also known as the Garden of Pleasure and Shalimar also known as the abode of Love. Shalimar is the abode of love which was laid out by the Mughal in the 16th century. Cherry on the top, all of these places fall along the bank of the heart of Srinagar, the Dal lake.

After some time in all of these places, we will proceed towards visiting the Amin- Bin- Khaliq in the evening. This place is known for its dry fruits and is located at the Polo view. Retire to your hotel for the evening

Day- 3- Gulmarg Day Excursion

Today, we will begin an early morning and gear up to head to Gulmarg. Also known as the Meadow of Flowers, Gulmarg is located at a height of 2730 metres above sea level. The distance between Srinagar and Gulmarg is 60 kms and takes 1.5 hours to cover. Gulmarg is known to have one of the best Ski slopes in the world and houses the highest golf course in the world with 18 holes. One can also view the pristine Nanga Parbat from here if weather permits.

View of the beautiful landscape that we come across while we enroute Tanmarg to Gulmarg is fascinating beyond words. To have an even closer view of the same, one can do a short trek up their way to Khilanmarg. This trek takes 3 hours to complete and the prize at the top that awaits is just breathtaking. Upon reaching Gulmarg, we will enjoy the chair lifts/ trolley rides at the top of the mountain.

After spending some time, we will return to Srinagar for the evening. Tonight, you will be having some sumptuous dinner at an authentic Kashmiri restaurant, giving you a touch of some aromatic Kashmiri spices. You may also try out some yummy smoked barbeque. This is chance for you to explore the spices used and the preparation of the dishes.

Day 4- Day excursion to Sonamarg

Today after Breakfast, proceed for a day excursion to Sonmarg (GoldenMeadow). Sonmarg lies in Sind Valley streamed with flowers and surrounded by mountains. Sonmarg is also the base for some interesting treks to the high altitude of Himalayan Lakes. Enjoy horse riding upto Thajiwas glacier and sledge riding on snow (on direct payment). Return to Srinagar by evening. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 5- Day excursion to Doodhpathri

After breakfast proceed to the beautiful region surrounded with lush meadows blanketed in green grass and mesmerising mountains covered with Alpine trees. This beautiful place gets its name from the snow-capped mountains and rushing streams in between. Spend the day enjoying this vast beauty of nature. Return to Srinagar for the night.

Day 6- Srinagar To Pahalgam

Today, we will start early so we head to Pahalgam before the roads get busy. Pahalgam is the Valley of Shepherds via Srinagar. Drive through saffron fields, the pine forest and along the Lidder River. We will stop by to get some visual insight on the manufacture of saffron (Seasonal) and see the locals in action and also stop by at the famous bat factory. You can also indulge in some shopping of authentic hand woven carpets and paper mache products. Arrive Pahalgam and transfer to your hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 7- Pahalgam Valley Sightseeing

Today, you may want to have an early breakfast and get set to explore the beautiful Aru and Betaab Valley in Pahalgam. Do remember that outside vehicles are not permitted to enter these regions and you will have to book a vehicle through the local taxi unions. Hence getting early will be a better deal. If the season permits, you may also visit Chandanwari and return to your hotel for the night. Bask in the peaceful evenings by the Lidder rivers of the snow capped mountains.

Day 8- Pahalgam to Srinagar.

After a relaxed morning, you can check out of your hotel and return to Srinagar. Today, you will check in to a beautiful houseboat across the Nigen lake or the Dal Lake

Day 9- Leisure Day in Srinagar

After a lazy morning homely breakfast, indulge exploring the floating markets and a leisure Shikara ride across the Lake. Explore the city at your own pace and enjoy the peace of the city. Return to your houseboat for the evening

Day 10- Departure

After a sumptuous breakfast, check out of your houseboat and head to the airport for your return journey back home.
