Detailed Itinerary

Day 1- Arrive at Bagdogra and transfer to Darjeeling

Today we arrive at the New Jalpaiguri Railway Station/Bagdogra Airport(IXB). Over there, you will be met by our official representative. He will assist you with the procedure of how you will be taken to Darjeeling. Upon arriving at the most visited spot of India, Darjeeling, you will be taken to your hotel where you will check- in and spend the evening in leisure. You can explore mall road and its near by cafes and shops

Day 2- Darjeeling Local Sightseeing

Today, you will start your morning as early as 4:00 AM. We will head to the famous Tiger Hill where you will get to see the beautiful sunrise over the Kanchenjunga mountains. Return to your hotel for some hot and heavy breakfast. After breakfast, we will visit Batasia Loop where you can enjoy a toy train ride on direct payment basis. We will then head towards the Darjeeling Zoo popularly known for its Himalayan animals and then visit the Mountaineering institute and Museum. We will also visit the peace pagoda and Tenzin rock and Dali/ Ghoom Monastery. Return to your hotel for the night

Day 3- Mirik Excursion

Today, we will begin an early day with an early breakfast. We will head towards Mirik where we will be visiting the Mirik Tea Gardens and viewpoint, Mirik monastery and the Orange orchards (seasonal). Return by the evening and spend the evening relaxing.

Day 4- To Temi Garden

Temi is the only tea garden in Sikkim and is famous for its aromatic dark tea. After a relaxed morning in Darjeeling and a leisurely breakfast, we will check out and head towards Temi tea Garden. To ensure an experience, we will stay in a tea garden itself to make the most of it.

Day 5- Temi Garden

This morning we indulge in some tea exploration. We will witness the stages that tea leaves go through to reach your cup. Not just that but we will also indulge in a nature trail through pristine lands of Temi and relish some authentic Sikkimese lunch before we get back to our hotel. We will also bask in the evening drowning in some High Tea with soft buttery biscuits. Relax for the evening and get yourself charged for the next few days of the trip.

Day 6- Temi to Pelling

After a relaxed morning, we will head to Pelling. On our way to Pelling, we will enroute Ravangla and visit the Buddha park. The Buddha park of Ravangla is also known as the Tathagata Sthal. Over here, you will see the 130 foot high statue of Buddha and will feel the splendid spiritual vibes. Trekking your way to the statue, you can read the encryptions on the paintings that tell the complete life story of Buddha. The spiritual environment over here will make you feel positive and secure like no other place in Sikkim. On arrival in Pelling, check in to your hotel for the night.

Day 7- Pelling local Sightseeing

Today, after a relaxed breakfast, we will visit places- Pemayangtse Monastery and Rabdentse ruins. The scenic view from the top of the ruin to the mystic heights of Kanchendzonga ranges is something that is needed to be cherished. We will also visit skywalk- the famous glass skywalk over the the picturesque town of Pelling. We will also visit Pelling Gompa and the birds park. Return to your hotel for the evening

Day 8- Pelling to Gangtok

After an early breakfast, begin your journey to Gangtok- the capital city of Sikkim. Enjoy the journey and the beautiful sites enroute. Upon arrival in Gangtok, check in to your hotel for the evening and relax.

Day 9- Gangtok Local Sightseeing

Today, after a sumptuous breakfast, we shall begin the local sightseeing of Gangtok. We shall be visiting Ridge park, a beautiful floral park known for its beautiful flower gardens, Bakthang Falls, a pristine crystal clear fall of gushing water from natural sources. We will head towards Tashi view point today. Tashi view point is the only spot through which you can see Mount K2 or Mount Kanchenjunga. The view point is perfect to witness the beauty of Gangtok in the form of its majestic, snow- clad mountains. We will also cover Chorten Stupa and the Museum of Tibetology. We will also be visiting the famous Gangtok Ropeway, a popular sightseeing place for visitors. We will also be visiting Ganesh Tok.

The speciality of Ganesh Tok is that this temple can accommodate only one person at a time and one has to literally crawl to reach the end of the temple. The end of the temple is not only worth it because of the way it comes in our way through the journey, but it is also worth it because at the end of the temple, you can see the serene view of the town of Gangtok, the Raj Bhavan complex and Mount K2 all together. This makes for a breathtaking view that one should really not miss.
Head back to your hotel for the evening. You can spend the rest of the evening at your leisure.

Day 10- Visit to Tsomgo lake and Baba mandir

Today, you will start your day with a mouth- filling breakfast at the hotel in the morning. After that, we will take an excursion to the Tsomgo lake and the Baba Mandir. Tsomgo Lake is an oval shaped lake and is nearly 50 feet deep. It is covered in snow for most of the year and is home to the Brahmini ducks & many migratory birds. Not very far from the lake is the sacred Baba Mandir. The mandir is known to be a very holy site for all.

Nathula Pass is 20 kms from the Republic of China. This is an optional trip and can tell our team if you want to opt for the same on direct payment basis
After traveling to all these places, we will move back to Gangtok where you can have your evening free. Meanwhile, you can stroll around the city and shop on MG road which is a mall. Overnight stay at Gangtok.

Day 11- Gangtok to Lachen – Enroute Sightseeing

Today, we start early with a tummy- filling breakfast. After that, we will head towards Lachen which is 35 kms from Chungthang. We will head to Chumthang view point and Naga falls. After spending time over there, we will head to the hotel and you can check- in and spend the evening in leisure.

Overnight stay in Lachen.

Day 12- Lachen – visit Gurudongmar lake and then to Lachung

Today, we will start early at 4 am to Gurudongmar lake. By 11 am we plan to cross the barrier for the return journey to Lachen. This breathtaking beauty of the world’s highest lake – Gurudongmar makes you spellbound. You might face a little bit of headache or dizziness despite spending decent time acclimatising at the high altitudes. Though we don’t take it lightly, return back to Lachen and have our lunch, quickly head towards Lachung. On our way, we will visit the Bhim Nala Waterfalls. Also known as the Amitabh Bacchan falls, the Bhim Nala waterfalls are one of the tallest waterfalls in Sikkim. The surroundings of this waterfall makes a very picturesque, breathtaking view.

Upon arrival at Lachung, we rest for some time, grab dinner and retire for the day.

Day 13- Yumthang Valley Excursion

Even today we start the day a little late around 6 am. We don’t wish to miss out on the mountain beauty early in the morning. Cherishing yumthang valley all the way to zero point is a breathtaking journey.

Yumthang is situated at an elevation of nearly 11800 feet and a drive to the place is an exceptional experience. On our way, we will visit the famous hot spring which is known for its curative properties for skin diseases. In spring the valley erupts in riots of colors as Primulae, Rhododendrons and many other Alpine flowers can be seen fully blooming. Adding to the beauty, the valley along with it will be seen covered with snow but that will not be the same in the season of autumn. During winter Yumthang is usually somber with snow all around and the snow-clad mountains add to the ethereal beauty. We will also visit the Lachung hot springs here before heading back to your hotel.

Zero point, also known as the Yumesamdong, is the place where the road ends. It is located 15 kms away from Yumthang and is situated at an altitude of 4724 meters. The point marks the end of the civilization and this is where the confluence of the three magnificent rivers happen. It offers some breathtaking views that makes the place a complete no-miss. Day 14- Lachung to Gangtok

Today, we start early in the morning and begin our return journey to Gangtok. Its going to be a picturesque drive and we can relax in the scenic beauty on our way back. On arrival, check- in to your hotel and spend your evening in leisure.

Day 15-Gangtok To Bagdogra drop

Today, after breakfast, check out and head for Bagdogra airport for your homeward departure with beautiful memories.
