Detailed Itinerary

Day 1- Arrival in Guwahati and Transfer to Pobitora National Park.

Upon arrival in Guwahati, you will received by our representative and will head to Pobitora National Park. This National Park is a home to the famous One-Horned Rhino, the Bengal tigers and Leopards. It is still a very unexplored forest range that is a home to the wild in their natural habitat. After check-in, we will stay amidst complete wilderness where the chirping of the crickets and the grunts of the Rhino may be audible to your naked ears. Spend the evening relaxing so close to nature taking in every breath of it.

If time permits, upon arrival in Guwahati, we may visit Kamakhya Temple. However, this is highly subjected to the time

Day 2- Wildlife Safari

Today, we will indulge in the morning and evening wildlife safari trying our luck to witness any of these animals in their natural habitat. Relax for the night at your stay.

Day 3- Transfer to Bhalukpong

Today, after a sumptuous breakfast, we will head towards Bhalukpong, a small rich bordering village of Arunachal Pradesh and Assam. Upon arrival in Bhalukpong, check in to your stay. Today, spend the day in the solitude of this little village. Explore the village life and culture on your own.

Day 4- Bhalukpong Local Sightseeing

Being a small village in Arunachal, Bhalukpong is still unexplored and very raw in itself. Today we will explore the pristine Sessa Orchid Sanctuary and the Pakhui Tiger Reserve. Spend the evening at leisure enjoying the peace of this village.

Day 5- Bhalukpong To Dirang

Today after a relaxed morning, we will head to Dirang. Enjoy the scenic drive as we go higher into the remote and offbeat roads of Arunachal Pradesh. You can sense the gradual change in culture and architecture as we go higher. Upon arrival in Dirang, check in to your hotel and relax for a bit. In the afternoon, we will head to the Dirang hot springs. After spending some time here, we will head back to the hotel. If you want, you can stroll around and explore this little place and its beauty for the rest of the evening.

Day 6- Dirang to Tawang

After an early breakfast, we will drive to Tawang-one of the most popular tourist destinations in Arunachal Pradesh. Tawang has always been an attraction to our neighbour after Tibet gave it up to India in 1951. However, the cultural shift is very evident in the place. Today, soulfully, a part of India, Tawang attracts lots of tourists and hence entering this region is not possible without a permit. On our way, we shall be passing Sela Pass and Sela Lake. Upon arrival and after check-in at your stay, you will visit the Gumpha Monastery and the War Memorial.

Day 7- Tawang Local Sightseeing

Today, we start early and head to Bumla Pass- the border between Tibet and India which held immense significance during the Sino-Indo War in the 1960s. After spending a limited time here for security reasons, we will head to the famous Sagestar Tso or Madhuri Lake (named after Madhuri Dixit during the shooting of the Hindi Movie ‘Koyla’). Return to your hotel and retire for the evening.

Day 8- Day trip Zimthang

Today, we will visit the beautiful stupa in Zimthang village which is a scenic drive of about 4 hours from Tawang. We will spend sometime in the beautiful place and head back to Tawang. Upon arrival late in the evening, we will relax for the night.

Day 9- Tawang to Bomdila

Today, after a healthy early breakfast, we will drive to Bomdila, another small town of Arunachal Pradesh. Enroute, we will visit Thembang Heritage Village- known as the most ancient village in this region. Get ready for a nice walk in this village that will give you live experience of the culture and lives of the people in this village. Talk to the locals and listen to the stories of their lives and traditions over a cup of hot tea. After spending some time here, we will head to Bomdila. At the outskirts of Bomdila,me will stop a viewpoint before entering this beautiful little town. Upon arrival in Bomdila, check in to your stay and retire for the evening. You may stroll outside and witness a typical evening in Bomdila.

Day 10- Bomdila to Nameri

After an early breakfast, we will begin our journey to Nameri- known for the famous Nameri National Park. Before we leave Bomdila, we will pay a visit to the Bomdila War Memorial and the Buddhist Monastery. Enroute Nameri, we will stop by at a small village- Tippi- known to harbour the beautiful Tippi Orchid Research Centre where you can see some beautiful Orchid in a very scenic setting. After Tippi, we shall be leaving Arunachal Pradesh and heading back to Assam. Upon arrival in Nameri, check in and spend the night relaxing amidst the wilderness.

Day 11- Nameri to Kaziranga

Today, after a good breakfast, we will head to the famous Kaziranga-home to the precious One-Horned Rhinos. Upon arrival in Kaziranga, check in to your hotel and retire for the evening.

Day 12: Kaziranga National Park

Today, after having our breakfasts, we will take a Jeep Safari at Central Range. Over there, we will discover, enroute and have our lunch. Post lunch, we will drive to the Orchid Park famous for its Assam Tea. After buying a few tea packets, we will come back to our hotel for an evening of leisure. You can also opt for an evening jeep safari is you want to witness more of the wildlife in the region
Overnight stay at Kaziranga.

Day 13- Departure drop

Today, with scenic memories and lifetime experience, we will head back to Guwahati for your departure back home.
