Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Dar es Salaam

Upon arrival at Julius Nyerere International Airport in Dar es Salaam, you will be greeted and transferred to your hotel for check-in. After a brief rest, delve into the heart of the city with a half-day local sightseeing tour. Begin your exploration at the National Museum of Tanzania, a treasure trove of cultural artifacts and historical exhibits that offer insight into the nation’s rich heritage. Continue to the Village Museum, an open-air museum showcasing traditional Tanzanian tribal life. Conclude your day at Coco Beach, a popular spot to unwind along the Indian Ocean, known for its vibrant atmosphere and stunning sunset views.

Day 2: Dar es Salaam to Nyerere National Park

After breakfast, embark on a long drive to Nyerere National Park, formerly Selous Game Reserve, and settle into your accommodation. Nyerere National Park is renowned for its diverse wildlife, and you may encounter elephants, lions, hippos, and crocodiles. The adventure begins the next day with a boat trip along the Rufiji River, providing a unique perspective on the park’s aquatic life and picturesque landscapes.

Day 3: Nyerere National Park

The day kicks off with a mesmerizing boat trip on the Rufiji River, offering opportunities to observe hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of bird species in their natural habitat. After the boat excursion, experience the thrill of a game drive through the expansive park. Day 4: Head to Mikumi National Park

Bid farewell to Nyerere National Park and drive to Mikumi National Park. Upon arrival, check in at your lodge and enjoy a delicious lunch. The afternoon brings an exciting game drive in Mikumi, allowing you to encounter diverse wildlife, from giraffes and zebras to buffaloes and various antelope species. Capture the essence of the park’s unique ecosystems and landscapes.

Day 5Mikumi to Dar e salam

Enjoy a morning game drive at Mikumi, ensuring you have ample time to spot any wildlife you may have missed the previous day. After the game drive, embark on a journey back to Dar es Salaam. Check in at your hotel upon arrival, providing a comfortable and convenient base for your last night in Tanzania.

Day 6Departure transfer to Dar e salam Airport

As your Tanzanian adventure draws to a close, spend your airport drive reflecting on the incredible experiences and memories made during your trip.
