Description (Brief)

25 Km away from Satara District H.Q. & 20 Km away from Northern part of Koyana Sanctuary. Locally called as ‘Kass Pathar’ or ‘Plateau of Flowers’.The major portion of the plateau is Reserve Forest. Many of the endemic, endangered plants are found on Plateau. More than 850 species of flowering plants are reported. 624 species have entered in the Red Data Book. Out of this 624 sp., 39 sp. are found in Kas Region only. Plateau seems to change the colours after every 15- 20 days as the cycle of flowering plants progresses with the monsoon progress since June to October.

7:00 PM :- Reporting at Swami Narayan Temple, Dadar.
7:30 PM :- Move for Kaas and enjoy the road trip.

Day 1
4:00 AM :- Reach Hotel and freshen up.
5:30 AM :- Have Breakfast and move for Kaas
6:00 AM :- Start Trail
9:00 AM :- Move for Kaas Lake
10:00 AM :- Reach Kaas Lake, start the trail and explore the place.
11:30 AM :- Move back to the Hotel
12:00 PM :- Reach Hotel and have lunch.
2:00 PM :- Move for Thoseghar Waterfalls.
2:30 PM :- Reach Thoseghar Waterfalls.
3:30 PM :- Move for Mumbai
10:00 PM :- Reach Mumbai.


Travel From Dadar and Back by Private A/C vehicle.
