Description (Brief)

This trek is for those who have recently step their foot in Himalayas with the aim of exploring as many possible aspects the mighty himalayas offer in various region. Yet it’s equally advisable trek for a 14 year old kid as well. Depending on the season, you get to experience the thick snow bed to slide, trek and even ski if you have enough skillset and the gear. The dry and rocky patch to reach the lake demands all your balancing acts you must have tried since childhood.


Day 1 – Reporting at Manali(2050m)
Pick up from Manali bus station . Chack in to your hotel/guest house and relex. After lunch begin with your day's activities dedicated to exploring Vashisht on foot. it begins with a walk to the jogni temple and water fall.It will take 2-3hours over night stay at guest house/ hotel.

Day 2 – Vashisht to Moridug camp,3-4 hours(2650m)
We’ll drive from Vashisht to Kulang Village, on the way to Rothang Pass from where the trek start. It takes ¾ hours to reach the Silver Oak Camp/Jungle Camp. On arrival at camp you are welcomed with hot drinks. In the eveningfree time or you can take an acclimatization walk around the camp.

Day 3 – Moridug Camp to Bhrighu Lake,6-7hours(4250m)
Today trekking will take us once more onto high plateaus above the kullu valley. We start the day with an ascent up to Bhrighu Lake(4250m). Another isolated spot, the lake nestles under it’s own peak which stands at( 4550m) and offers great views once again. After reaching at bhrighu lake spending some time there and descending down to the camp.

Day 4 – Moridug Camp to Vashisht,3-4 hours(2050m)
A downhill trek start from the camp site to Vashisht village. Vashisht is famous for its natural hot spring and upon arriving in the village we’ll head straight for relaxing bath. The perfect way to end a trek.
